Byliner.com | Founder & CEO
Byliner.com, which will have its full launch in early June, combines curated archives of the best nonfiction writers’ work with personalized recommendations, social bookmarking and aggregated discussion. It allows fans of great storytelling to easily find, share and discuss new and classic work by their favorite authors. Byliner.com also serves as a distribution platform for Byliner Originals, compelling nonfiction stories by great writers, told at lengths that allow them to be read in one sitting. The inaugural Byliner Original is Jon Krakauer’s Three Cups of Deceit. More information at Byliner.com.
Techland.com | Editor-at-Large
Did I mention that I’m an editor-at-large of Time Magazine’s technology blog?
MotorMouths.com | Founder
A simple site that allows car shoppers to easily see what the critical consensus is for any new car. Time Magazine dubbed it “The Rotten Tomatoes of Car Reviews.” (They said this well before I started working there, so yes it does count.) MotorMouths also provides business intelligence to OEMs to help with their product launches, and syndicates custom data feeds of review analysis for use on dealer and automotive websites. It has a surprisingly popular Twitter feed, which you can follow here.
StreetAdvisor.com | Founding Editor
Oversaw all content strategy and UX for this popular financial news website. Popular, that is, until March 2000, at which point it deflated along with the rest of its bubbly pals and eventually vanished altogether. The domain later reemerged as a social network about neighborhoods, but I had nothing to do with that.
Oh, I’m also Officer Editor at @PoliceLog.
